Break into and blow up competitors' SEO strategies

Know where your competitors are ranking high and why. Zoom into their successful SEO strategies and outperform them to get those rankings. Get alerts whenever there is any change in rankings on the keywords that are important to you.


Step1

Set KeywordCountry to 'SEO Analysis' from Search Type Dropdown on the top and type in keywords important to you for which you wish to analyze high ranking competitors.

KeywordCountry will come back with:

  • Successful SEO competitors and their rankings on Google, Yahoo, MSN
  • List of Keywords from which they receive search engine traffic
  • List of pages which attracts all the search engine traffic

Step2

Click any SEO competitor from list and see the entire collection of their listings which appear on Search Engine for various keywords.

It shows you the keywords they have used in their title text and meta description that makes them rank high. It shows you what sort of title texts will rank high for which keywords.

Step3

From 'Keywords tab' see the Search Volume of the keywords from which your competitor is tapping the traffic. CPC column shows you how much per click you will have to pay to get to the top of sponsored listings.

Hint: More the CPC, more converting that keyword should be. Advertisers like to bid high on keywords that are getting them sales. Now you know, which keywords are converting and where you should target your SEO efforts.

Step4

Click the 'Landing URL' tab to analyze the pages that have been successful to rank high with.

See which Landing Pages he is emphasizing on the most. Notice the keywords for which they are ranking high. Click to goto these webpages and try to figure out the strategy they have applied that makes them rank this high.

Step5

Get Desktop Alerts whenever your competitors jump rankings, or a new competitor arrives. Keep a tab on their SEO Strategies and respond quickly whenever some competitor makes changes in his pages to rank high.

Click on 'Schedule project' link on the main toolbar to set alert on all the keywords you started your SEO analysis with. KeywordCountry will start on its own with your computer and keep an eye on your competitors to alert you about all important moves that your competitors make.
