Track down success keywords of PPC competitors

Step1

Set Keyword Country to 'PPC Analysis' from Search Type Dropdown on the top and type in a keywords important to you for which you want to analyze your PPC Competitors.

Keyword Country will come back with

  • PPC competitors from Google, Yahoo, MSN
  • the list of keywords they are bidding on,
  • their converting Text Ads.
  • their landing pages which they are targeting

Pinpointing Successful Competitors:
This page shows the high rollers in the industry and how much optimized their PPC Campaigns are. More the number of ads, the better they have organized their PPC Campaigns. Competitors with less number of ads are paying more to rank high and can be easily beaten with high CTR ad.

More the number of keywords they rank on, more is the coverage they have across keywords in your list.

Step2

Click on any PPC competitor from the list to see the entire collection of Text Ads they run to stay profitable.

High CTR Ads:
The ads that are appearing for multiple keywords, attract more CTR and probably are more profitable than others.

Step3

From 'Keywords tab' you can see the Search volume that your competitor is enjoying. Cost Per Click (CPC) column represents how much you need to pay to be on the top of these sponsored listings.

Finding Profitable Keywords:
More the ads that your competitor has posted against a single keyword, the harder he is trying to get traffic from that keyword. Probability is high that these keywords are profitable for them.

Get inspired from your competitor's ads and their efforts to turn traffic into sales. Scroll through all the keywords and ads that they are betting upon.

Step4

Click the 'Landing URL' tab & analyze the landing pages your competitor is using to make sales.

Profitable Landing Pages: More number of Ads and keywords you see against a landing page, most important the landing page is for your competitor for sales.

Get inspired from his landing pages that are working for them and replicate the same easily in your own adwords campaign.

Step5

Get Desktop Alerts whenever your competitors change their ads, keywords or landing pages. Keep a tab on their PPC strategies and respond quickly whenever your competitor makes changes in his PPC Strategies to steal the sales from you

Click on 'Schedule project' link on the main toolbar to set the alert o the keywords you started your PPC Analysis with. KeywordCountry will start on it own with your computer and keep an eye on your competitors to alert you about all the important moves that your competitors make.
